  Better picture and sound are key benefits of digital technology.* The RCA DVC camcorder has fully digital camera and VCR record/playback sections. With the DVC format, you can get an amazing 500 lines of horizontal resolution. That’s a 25 percent increase over current Hi-8 or S-VHS camcorders that approach 400 lines. And it’s about twice the resolution of standard analog VCRs, which average between 240 and 260 lines of horizontal resolution.
